Starting originally in electronics engineering, I managed multi-disciplinary development activities spanning embedded systems, software architecture, and hardware design, before retiring as a Senior Consultant Engineer and Software Development specialist.

Callsign G8LRS

Licensed continuously since June 1976. Active on digital modes (FT4 and FT8 on 10m, 12m, 15m, 17m, 20m, 30m, 40m). I was keeper of the UHF repeater GB3OV for 20 years (1990–2010), and designed the custom PIC microcontroller control logic.
